I am looking to buy the above in very good condition with the intention of racing with them.

I may be able to help.

I have a No.1 from an Endeavour 26 I just bought. I'm buying new cruising sails as I don't race.

These are my measurements

No 1. Headsail
Luff 32'0" (9.754m)
Leech 31'8" (9.652m)
Foot 15'10"(4.826m)

Not even 12 months old.

That would fit in my Spacesailer. How high is the clew off the deck?

Don't waste your money use this headsail. It is different to a non reefing mainsail.

150mm.

It was made by Xilarate on the Central coast - www.startlocal.com.au/auto/boatyachtequip/nsw_centralcoast/Xilarate_Australia_1859908.html

Here is a pic of the headsail that is the same material and make as the mainsail.

That's a nice sail; if the headsails were like that I'd hang onto them.

Bundeena, does the WA or Victorian association have any leads? The S 80s are more popular in those states.

I left messages with both numbers on the S80 Victorian site but did not get a reply.
I have decided to use Ian Short again. I am getting a Mylar Pentax Black Laminate no1 and a premium performance Dacron no3 this Sunday.
