Well the fleet of 40 boats are off and racing, a drifter of a start but they're into some good downwind breeze now. I watched the 'dock out' and race start last night. I couldn't believe how many spectators turned out for it. Anyway, my reason for the post is to ask if anyone can explain the "Heures Retained" that's reported on each boat/skipper, on the tracker?
Ok got it. It's the update times in CET (Central European Time). Essentially, they update 5 times a day, every 4 hours. Aus times for updates are; 4pm, 8pm, 12am, 4am, 8am.
It's been translated now to read 'Report on....' I wish they'd update more often though, for us armchair racers.
