Hi all,

I've got a weaver deck hatch which is leaking at the handles. Most probably a simple o ring replacement.

Now every other brand of hatch seems to have an obvious screw. I can't see how these handles come apart.

Anyone got any ideas or had experience.

As ever , thank you for your help.

Cheers

Bristol

I suspect the screw will be under the slide lock. Probably need to prise the slide out with a flat screw driver.

Weaver are now part of Maxwell / Vetus in NZ, so perhaps you could try contacting them using the following link.

I have the same problem with my lewmar hatches.
It is more a washer then an o ring could not get anything except buying the whole handle.
I have ended up using the washer for a small tap you know the screw on click n for the hose. Not the larger usuall one but the smaller one that comes with it.

Bristol,
How did you go with getting the handles off?

Thanks for asking DAMA, but you've caught me out - still haven't got round to them. Just relying on the fact that the dinghy sits over the hatch.

However, you've inspired me. As soon as it stops raining.......!

Did you get the instructions on removing handles?
