Does anybody have information about these new downwind specific foil from Armstrong? Release dates ,etc.
I saw some comments recently in several media/events, but there is nothing in the webpage. Apparently there will be 3 sizes from 680 to 990, all over 13 AR and with high camber.
Looks like they have announced it! www.armstrongfoils.com/products/front-foils/dwp-range///// Three sizes, all AR 13+.

I wish i was good enough to paddle up one of these!!!
I should have my hands on the 755 and 930 in a couple weeks. Will be using for wing DW and hopefully SUP as I dial my skills. I've heard the 930 is similar to the 1125/1325 but better low and top end. We shall see!

Is it similar to 1125 or 1325? Because there is a big difference between both.

I will let you know once I get on the 930.
I tried yesterday a proto 685 winging and really like it. I was out with my go to 925 and switched to the proto thinking I was not going to get up on foil, I am 90kg, never use a foil this small. Use 725 when nuking.
went up easier than the 925, felt really easy to ride and at that size turns on a dime. I want them!!!!

There's rumors of a new HA Surf Range too....so it's a tough call. I'm probably going to get a new 925/725 HA replacement if the new HAs are that much better with respect to stall speed and top end.

I learned today that the one I tried is the surf one. Coming out around Christmas

I had to go back to my 925 after returning the proto. On my first wing with the chopped 195 and 50 fuse it felt horrible. Very stiff and hard to turn. Changed to my chopped V tail, that though it was loose to the point of hard to control.for that reason stopped using it..had my third wing today with it and I am loving it. 925 is all good again. And everything feels fast and loose.
I guess a lot of this journey is us getting better and being able to ride faster and loser gear with less wind and removing training wheels that we needed before.

the 925 was way too good for the average rider when it came out. so yeh bette riding and the new mod mast made all the difference.
DW930 and DW755 arrived yesterday, hit the water this morning for a quick DW (then upwind) wing session. Tried the 755 first, but conditions were kinda small and not well organized so switched to 930..and then the wind jumped 8knts and it really turned on.
Knee to waist semi-organized bay conditions with ebbing current into the wind. The DW930/60F/140R was solid! I was lapping this half mile stretch LE only with no issue (only did it once with the 925 in 10/10 conditions). The camber really seems to bite when you need it to and sends on the ready! Projecting up and over bumps after bad decisions was no problem. As Oscar said in his review, the pressure build is so even and steady when going fast, allowing a nice free boost coming out of the section.
Looking forward to some DW sends and eventually getting the paddle in the mix. Definitely made for voyaging!!
Session #2 with the 930 in small conditions. This time with the 180 stab. Went great! Able to get best length of runs at this other spot. 4 laps and I was cooked. Learning the nuances of the wing is fun. It can take elongated slomo pumps or rapid pumps. Like Oscar said in his review, if riding bay conditions, be ready to carve laterally or you will catch the one in front. On the other hand, if you are pumping searching for a bump and you see one forming, it is easy to hang and wait on it without stalling. The glide is real.

How would you compare it to MA1225 with respect to stall/take off speed and overall user friendliness?

I've never ridden the MA1225, so I can't help you there. I'd say it's similar to the HA1125 in turning, but a lower stall speed and higher top end. Takes off faster than the MA1000 I'm estimating.
