Considering getting into this thing called DW foiling. Me 76kg, accomplished SUP surfer boards around 100L, 3 years into the foiling journey and serious foil brain. Looking for a board with multi-purpose: light-wind winging, SUP foiling and god forbid one day DW foiling.
Debating between a 96L 6'8 x 19.5 or 107L 7'2 x 20.25.
Opinions plzzzzz.afraid the longer board will be too long for winging and SUPing whereas the shorter board too short and too tippy for DWing.
Conditions mosty short period bay chop.
What do my fellow frothers think?

ATM everything is going much longer for DW , it's the hardest form of foiling . The extra length gives you the initial paddle speed to pop up . Yes can be done on shorter boards but why make it harder for yourself .

Only get the shorter boards if you're going to be pairing them with a large foil. If you're going to be pairing them with a regular size or small foil, then you need long and skinny. For example: Boards on Maui are regularly 9'6" x under 18" now. Aim for 30+L minimum, to make learning easy. That's the advice I've been seeing lately.

IMO:
For Light wind winging and SUP: Just shy of 7ft x 19 or 20" seems to be the sweet spot, especially a board with long foil tracks.
For SUP DW: +7ft 6, minimum 30L volume, big foil. Given you have SUP experience you may pick it up faster than others.

Both have trade off's, depends on which one you are likely to do the most.

Yeah can be a tough decision and really you just have to decide if winging the longer board is going to be your main focus or if you really want to DW foil.
If the main focus is winging on a longer board then something like 6'6 to 7ft would be plenty as the wing gives enough power to get this length board up to speed very easy.
If you really want to focus on DW the 7ft and bigger, your weight and skill level I would build you a 8ft x 20 x 100L as that I think would be perfect for you size. You could wing it as well but I find I get over winging my long DW board after a while and end up back on my shorter boards for winging.
Weight is a major factor on the longer boards and if over 6kg then forget it. 100L boards custom should come in at 5kg or a touch under and production should be 5kg or maybe a slight touch over. To much weight in the nose and tail is not good.

Just decide what is more important to you and go that way as the main focus.
