I am looking to get into Sup Foiling as an experience Kiter, and medium waver Super.
I came across these two suppliers for some Sup Foil clinic in Lombok. Can anyone recommend one or the other? Both look quite good.

Hi Marco,
I did the lombok foil camp in early December and it was amazing. You can't believe how much you can improve when foiling in decent waves every day and also getting instructions that you normally don't get. It was just so easy waking up and having everything done for you, transport and boats and knowledge of where the best surf will be each day. I travel 3 months a year kiting, snowboarding and this was my first ever organised surf trip and it was probably cheaper than I could of organise by myself . Plus it's great to be around like minded people talking about foiling and learning at the same time. They also organise tow in surf foiling which for me was a game changer and has converter me to the prone surf foiling more than sup foiling now. Flying down a 8 foot wave being towed in, is something that you will never forget and was surprisingly easy to get the hang of.
Overall Jono and his local crew were.highly professional and I will definitely be doing it again this year. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask me.

Hi Marco. Got a message that you posted here & needed some further info.
To foil in Lombok, there are many great waves to be had, fun & playful as well as challenging. Lombok is a surfing hub, it has an over whelming amount of surf schools & beach boys providing lessons, as well as a growth in tourism to the Island, so foiling in the high season can be challenging, I do foil all year round but I live there 60% of the year & have time to wait for a wave, go to my secret spot or go from sup foil to prone and kite. Some times it can get busy, to many learner surfers congesting the waves. When on the foil we have to be courteous & safe. Low season is when we, Lombok Foil, run our surf / sup foil camps, after talking with the local surf community this was the compromise to accept a group of Foil riders at the local breaks. High season we will only be doing Kite & wind wing as we can do this at safe distance to other surfers & when windy the good surf is mostly blown out. We also have a few good hook ups in Bail for tow in & sup Foil.

This is a great place, also known as Heaven On The Planet, now,. The Sanctuary. Located right on the cliff top overlooking inside Ekas.
They provide package deals where everything is included, as of last year they have prone foils, & a great young local that has learnt to foil & helps out for foiling. I think that it closed for the low season November & re-opens March.
This accommodation is great & feels quite exclusive as only guests are permitted there, you get your meals, & use all of their equipment, boats out to Ekas breaks as well as some other activities they may offer.
High & Low tide will impact your ability to foil or Sup there, so keep this in mind when & if booking & check the tides, so you maximize your stay, or you may find yourself reading a book or sun baking. You will want to get out earlyfor a foil before all the boats start coming across from Kutaor late just before dark after they leave, with students & surfers. At Ekas it is quite sparse there are no Cafes, Bars, or entertainment in the area. But The Sanctuary / Foilheaven is a great location with stunning views.
