Looking good, would not want to be on the wrong end of the nose!
It would be a good one to take to the crowds in Noosa mate

Too true, soul surfers and Van Lifers would not stand a chance?
I am sure it will be an 8ft /5" 132lts SPX after a few sessions
Hey Tardy how does it dffer from the standard SP25 or Ricks Poltergeist ?????
What pad are you going with?? I think I'll stick with the 8"8 after the winter fattening season.
Hi Dave ,O& E Rear pad and brought 1,5 metres of diamond from surf& sail ,both black .

Hey Tardy how does it dffer from the standard SP25 or Ricks Poltergeist ?????
just has a X now ,same board just more options on sizes to confuse .shops will not be carrying the sizes you have to order ,just too many ,has 8,5 x 125 8,6 x 129 ,list is crazy ,and covers for all .I like the shape ,
Here's a couple of pictures ,as you can see it does have a bit more float in the tail ,rocker line looks fast ,but it just had its last dose of resin ,a sand then off to the paint bay ,stay tuned ,

ha ha.... Poltergeist doesn't have a pointy nose, but still scarier!!
Tardy... looks mint my friend!!
The only SPX I have seen was 2 years ago and looked quite different, so I am not quite sure the exact difference between the SP25 and SPX, but I know the SPX also replaces the SP24, so must have some added capabilities in a bit larger juice than the SP25.
SPX Sounds perfect for Tardy's reefs!!
I can't wait to see his video slashes!!!

The more I look At the shape it does seem to be in the middle of the two SP24& 25 which is great news for me as I could not decide which one to choose .
would be interested in getting a close up of the rails particularly the tail section. I do feel the rails on the SP25 are pretty thick???
Hi Dave I don't know if this is enough to see the rails but they looked to be thinned out or domed out
Hi Tardy, looks like another fantastic board for you. Can't wait to see it in the water.
And in the sprit of repeats i caught a rerun of Ray Martins and Ken Duncan's doco on your island home again the other night on SBS. Your nice little wave pool had good showing.
And the entire island looked amazing, a truly amazing place.
Cheers.
Steve.
Thanks Steve
it's not a bad rock
board will look better once I have the deck pad on
I'm looking forward to getting this one as I'm a bit heavier these days , Quiver complete for a while ,
yes I will post a vid to show how it goes
Awesome!!
Tar Hop ,mines done and almost wrapped ,any up date pic's on the 11 ,.? I recon it's nearing completion too .exciting times ahead ,early Christmas presents from Santa .
That's beautiful Tardy, almost looks too good to get wet.
Just hang it on a wall and admire it
I'm currently doing a custom xxx tec revolution with a similar tint, really looking forward to it.
Enjoy mate!

Thanks Brenno ,it's built to shred ,but it will have the best board rack in the shed
looking forward to seeing the evaluation of the revolution .let me guess 28 x 130 .possibly a 9'0 .-9.2 .?
thanks Steveo1 .I'm loving the shape ,I hope it surfs as good as it looks .
I'm a frayed knot ,be a while off yet thanks to HELMY putting in a late order and slowing the shipment up ha ,ha .most Sunshinecoast orders will be coming through SHQ ,VICCO ,I would say at least a month before I see mine ,maybe more as we hit peak freight back ups before Christmas as mine has two pit stops .but gives me time to save up some more .HOPPO's will be first out ,
