Not a review... just a good look at my new 8'9 Kanga in TR3.
I am so stoked to finally ride a smaller Kanga.
My 9'6 Kanga dominated my summer last year, so I ordered some smaller SUPs to keep me on my toes
It surfs with the same feel as my big Kanga, but easier to throw around.

I am excited to get it into some more substantial waves, where it will really shine!

Thanks for the ending, makes me feel so much better after the shore break got me last week, sup nose dived and in the repair shop for some loving and $150 later after cracking the 9'4 creek's nose, but at least its my husbands sup

Sweet vid of your new throwable summer stick. And what a nice sandbar point break.

I'm sure you visualized your toes from the shark perspective every time you went overboard. Nice waves, and I dare say really smooth surfing. Looking even more agile our there. Is it the board or the man? Inspiration to us all!

I know, right? So easy to screw up the dismount!
What?!?!... you broke the nose of your husbands board?

ha ha, the roll up was very stylish (and fun) ... I was lucky I didn't get the board in the face!
Sharks keep the crowds down, so it's a pretty good tradeoff. Until it isn't

Toes? That's Florida
And yeah, I get back on the board pretty quick around here.

Entertaining as always STC, had a similar dismount the other day, rolled around laughing at myself until I could finally stand up and get out!
Keep up the good work mate!

Thanks Rick, I was happy to see your latest batch of video's, your surfing is so good you give me hope I still have a long wave in front of me. (You have a few years on me mate)

My local SUP shop is looking to sell Sunovas soon, so keep the inspiration coming for my next board purchase. Really like the look of the Throttle in a 9'7
Thanks again for sharing the stoke.

Stephen.

Yewwwwwww... thanks Bus Driver, that is much appreciated!
It would be pretty sweet to have boards available local!
I have never even seen a Throttle....but it looks cool!
My days for narrow guns is past.

I agree, the Kanga 8'9 will be my board of choice when we get solid hurricane swells.
This is my perfect size to have both paddle power and ability to drive off the bottom in bigger waves.
Excited to try it in some of our summer juice as well, I believe it will really shine in that.

Soooo cool. You even made the slow motion roll over at the end look good. Ima get a Kanga. A huge one, one to learn and grow with, (cuz after watching that video, I just know that board will make me an awesome SUP surfer, hahahaha). My next few months will be all about that last shot...

Thank you.
