I'm considering going to have a look at this board after work tomorrow - I was wondering if anyone can identify the model/year etc. The guy selling says it's a Starboard 3.8 m long (12'6" I think) and about 700mm wide, but not much more ifo than that. He's asking $650. ANy info gratefully received.
Its an old starboard, probably 10+ years old. I think you could probably do better, but that depends on where you are. You should go for a 14 foot board. This one looks quite beaten up. There are some fanatics on the classified ads that are only $450 and are 14 foot.
Thanks for the reply, you are quite right. It's 12'6" x 27.5", structurally sound (I think), but the finish is quite scraped & beaten, and the clearcoat (is that the right term?) is peeling off, especially on the bottom. I'm in WA, which does limit things a bit.

The used race board market in WA is good mate . Plenty of quality 14's about which you can get for a fair price. Ask the the question on 'Perth Sup'. Not so many 12'6's about but the boards are out there.

Sorry. Perth Sup Facebook page.
It looks like its had a hard life and copped a bit of a beating.
Probably worth half of what the asking price is imo.
I would keep looking as you will find another 12'6 as they come up for sale all the time. Check here in classifieds and on facebook marketplace.
Be patient and you'll find something.
