Nice!
Personally (but to each his tastes), I would have thinned out the nose (no "beak") and went for a full deep single concave on the tail to help the rails dig deep in the wave
Nice Kami .Before you build try paddling a normal Sup without fins ,they just spin on the first stroke (very different to a finless prone board) so I think you might need some more directional channels but I like what I see.

Thx Piros, you are right about paddling as well as drive effect while surfing that board. I will insert channels in double concave and a crescent tail later on
Was just a sketch up for fun, anyway
Please, note this board would be in XPE foam, that mean flexible so will stick to the wave face like sponges do
Is this yours
Yup!
This said, finless SUPing is clearly out of my league. I never managed to take off on my 8' Simmons without fins. Well, once, by pure luck.
I guess If I wanted to do it, I would have needed to go progressively, with nubsters-like fins at first for instance...
Or maybe some glue-on plastic channels?
Kami,
Is there any particular reason why you want to go finless? Could you not incorporate fins into the design? I just wonder what the benefit to go this way and what the sacrifices are that you would be making by applying this. Is it worth it ultimately?Ozzie

Just cause you can!
Maybe even have a look at the "Hot Curl" style of finless surfing. Not as popular as the Hipster style alaia's and FFF boards, but hold in a hell of a lot better??

IMO, finless reason is to provide a freedom feeling and speed. As shown on Rian's video, Ryan do it and enjoy it.
As well Roger Hall finless models just need a paddle to follow on his thought.
Thank you Hilton
In my experience, you need to crouch a lot (as shown in Derek Hynd videos), and width is your enemy: too wide a board, and the board will try to spin around rather than go straight (too much drag)... 2 things that are really harder on a SUP than on a prone surfboard...

Attention please, that board is flexible, it's made of bodyboard material , built to play in shore break with paddle in hand as a moving fin as they ( squids) do with flippers. This is not composites EPS/glass/epoxy resin, this is XPE foam with carbon fiberglass sole.
And it's just a sketch up from playing with my CADsoft.
this is not serious
I will insert channels bottom later on...in case

Sorry, not a fan of the "crouch" they don't really need to do it. Think it's more of a "in trend/sheep " style!
spongers have been standing tall for quite a while.
this was one of my favourite clips last year
lookielookie, just try finless with a paddle in hand, and you'll see this is not bodyboarding :-)
Trying to apply enough power with a paddle for takeoff without spinning is insanely hard...

thanks colas; I understand the variations and the differences between body, surf and sup boards.
have done several times, hence I wouldn't be commenting on the subject
