Hello there folks,

I am a long time reader and first time poster to this forum, I am hunting around for my first SUP and wanted to know if anyone has any experience with the boards pictured.

the first one is a 11'6 32 4 from MangoRacing in Bondi and the second is a 10' 30 4.5 Honu also from Bondi but sold through ebay.

I am 5ft 11in and weight in at 94kg, and ill be using this in Botany Bay and possibly in some small surf also in the Bay or down Cronulla. As I have had a lower back injury I will be using this for rehab/training and core strength.

My two girls ( 11 & 9 ) also want to play around on it and have some fun too.

I have some basic experience using SUP's ( holidays ) but I really want to get into it and use it 3 or 4 times a week. The reason I have picked these boards is due to not having a huge amount of money and these boards fit into my current budget.

So your help with these two boards would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Perhaps you could also look at used boards on seabreeze, some of the local shops (thinking Cronulla SUP or Wind Surf and Snow) have some good used boards in stock too, I think for a begginer, 11' and 31 or 32 wide is a good starting point.

Come down to Georges River Sailing Club on a Tuesday night and have a chat with the Botany Bay SUP Club...

www.facebook.com/BotanyBaySUPclub/

The best thing about this club is that some of our members don't even paddle, they just turn up at the end for the beers... *CoughShireSUPCough*

So today I went out and purchased the below board, 12ft 32, 4.5, I know its not a brand name SUP but it will do to get me going and it'll give the wife and kids something to play on too. Plus id did help that it was the right price too.
