Scotty just sent me a pic of my Hipster Twin Mini Mal.
9'2" x 30'5" x 3.75" x 122 liters.
He is making a delivery to Hawaii and shipping it Air Cargo to Boston.
Can't wait to get my hands on this Bad Boy.
Hope the 35 F water temps don't scare it!
Scotty flies to Hawaii. Huge storm surf.
Takes Le Grande Orange to Blue Planet wrapped and packed.
Goes to Delta. WTF doesn't have an account.
United Cargo no worries and a mate has an account there.
Huge waves on Oahu still. Sunset contest on call.
God willing and the crick don't rise that awesome board should be in Boston Thursday night after a stop in New Jersey.
And the new stick flat spell jinx cancelled!
Good Karma with SMIK. Surfed the Rainbow Bridge the day after Logan last year as well.
Geezer FROTH activated! Will definitely take some pics and report!
Well the Orange Ghost is here. The Orange sanded carbon paint - also known as Rat Rod here in the US is wicked pissah awesome - Boston for totally SMIK. And the hipster plaid at the back ain't too shabby neither.
I am very olde skuhle at 71 and you ALWAYS take a new sled for a spin even in snow, 2.7 C water, and a one foot pigslop swell running. Ya gotta go!
Had a blast, even got up the schnozz. Loose and carvy. Can't wait to get her in some real waves.
Here are some pics..
Great work CBiggy
I admire your commitment with the snow and also your split vernacular - sounds half seppo half oz.
Cheers
Eski
Yep - What an incredible looking stick CBigster!!!
Congratulations! - and man - you are hard core fella!
71 years young, it's snowing and you're out there!
Christ - I've got no excuse now when it's crap - CBig has just rewritten the book on froth.
Hellman
Here in Europe, we share the same Winter of the Nothern Hemisphere but we don't have the same guts to come out in that cold! Can be the Smick doing the difference
Board looks sweet,
Can't wait to get a hole in my work schedule to get my new Smik out for some fun.
Hope you are all healed up RG. You are gonna love the one you got. Perfect for FLA!
Bonus - no snow and warm water!
Wow, sweet stik mate, she's a beauty.
And your dedication to getting her wet, no matter what, is outstanding.
They'll be able to see you rippin' from space!

My future's so bright I gotta wear shades! You ever ride your's with no trailer?

Yeah mate, tried it a few times when I first got her. Loose as a goose, but the rail to rail transition is not as smoooooth.
Thanks. Yep I gave it go, not a good thing. Currently experimenting with small keels and the SMIK trailer.
Carves really well, fast, and loose! Naughty red head! LOL!
. .
After chatting with Brenno about fins I saw he is mostly using Asher Pacey Twinnies with a trailer. Hard to get here in the US so am gonna try these Al Merrick twinnies with the small box trailer.
Stock fins too small. Al Merricks too stiff.
Be like Brenno! Huge Asher Pacey 5.79" cork inside with stock nub forward. Moved it since the pic.
Incredible drive out of turns, but solid on tip time. Water warming up finally!
Gonna see if a buddy will take a pic..
