Just thought I'd report back. I got out for a dawny on Monday (it was 2deg as I paddled out )
This was the third sesh and first one set up as a thruster (Jackson Close fin). The waves were 1-1.5 head high long lefts.
Set up as a thruster the board has been unleashed. For a smallish board it glides into waves easier than my 8,10 gun.
Once in the waves the board is super smooth with heaps of flow and speed. The turn it has when you weight the back foot in insane. As you exit the turn it accelerates allowing to the board flow straight into the next manoeuvre unlike any other board I have surfed. I will be selling my Hypernut 7’2 as this board is all I will ride in 2-6ft waves from now on.
Sounds good sounds real good......very interesting.....new thread .......revised opinion.....its prudent to keep an open mind, as then one can change more easily..... Because change is the only constant.....go with the flow....... what its all about .....etc etc.......and that was a great vid too "Ocean Flow" all those years of accumulated knowledge manifested as new improved water craft for anyone who "gets it"
keep those reports coming
thanks
