Hi , iam writting about my new , 10ftx29x130 L , sunova style . Ihave been riding a 9ftx1" creek for about a year , great board , but wanted to surf a long board sup . Rick , sup the creek , has been fantastic in his email to me and we all dig his videos , so cool . Have had 5 sessions on this new stick and love it . takes anything i can catch ,knee to head hi , and even late drops it doesnt nose dive .Not quiet got it right yet , but have used it as a single fin , 2plus 1 , with center fin mid box , and center fin back as far as it can go . that been the best as yet . My locals are a long walk , then 10 min paddle or just the 10 min paddle and compared to the Creek the style is half the effort ,but i will still surf the Creek as its a great board . For those thinking about the style , i was lucky enough to ride , a 10ftx26 casey revo , 10x28 casey revo a style10x29 and my creek all on the same day , just switched out in the water .Yes very good mates , and was the deciding factor for me , the long board /possible nose ridding , if i good enough .Iam a prone surfer 71 years young 5/,10, about 74kgs with wettie on , which here in NZ is pretty much all the time . Been supping about 6 years now on various sups ,all had their place in my love of surfing . I have a lend of a single fin Sunova Hangman 9/6 at moment , one session on it and again what a great board , it rips .Thanks Dean , sunova NZ for ya great service and hope to get a toe over the nose one day , on my style .
Welcome to the Breeze razors!
Thanks for the kind words.
If you want to get toes over, the Style can open that door for you..... it noserides like it's cheating!
I have some sort of mental block when it comes to putting my toes over the tip.... I gotta get past the last few inches
Instead of tip riding, I seem content to camp on the nose and turn the board to work the face, as in this 6 year old Style video....
Creek the influencer, cool man. So how does the Style compare to the Revolution?
ha ha... sorry, I was road tripping up the East Coast when you asked this and totally missed it
Short version:
The Style is a better noserider
The Revolution is faster and snappier, more performance longboard.
