Sunday June 1
A group of Quantum Sup Coaching Team Riders are going to head to Cairns on the weekend of 31 May/1 June to compete in the Great Barrier Reef Challenge. Dale Chapman will lead the NSP/DC charge and I am hoping Beau O'Brian of Starboard fame will make the trip too.
ANYONE else eager to take up the CHALLENGE!!!

This is a great DOWNWINDER
That's a different race Kev, run later in the year. This one has really good wind (usually)
It was set up for OUTRIGGERS of course but you have to start somewhere.
There is a heap of ski paddlers this year.
Dean Gardiner has been every year.
And the only way to get SUP racing going is to show up and paddle.
These guys only decided this week and will paddle mainly 14's. Dale may get himself a 17' done in time.
Hmmmmmmmm.......... Interesting.....
You know you want to Kitty....
Hmmmmmmmm.......... Interesting.....
Start and finish- of course you're interested. The most prolific racer in the country young Kitty.
I've paddled the course and its an absolutely perfect set up if its blowing, right behind you, John and I will do it if you do Kitty.
Would be good distance training for Hawaii...........
Any ideas for logistics? How to get a 14ft board there in otherwords?
Any shops hiring around there?
This was the 2012 Race, conditions were ok but not ideal that year. The shallow water kicks up some nice clean runs without the ocean swell.
Mr and Mrs Dorries get into the action about the 8 min mark?
