Just a few of my Classic Pintails for surfing on. No Square noses here.

OOps that 6'10 won't stay away.........7'6"for 100kg..................................8'0 for 67kg............................8'4"for 76kg

8'2"for 95kg mine...........................7'10"for 100kg......................7'6" for 100kg...................6'10"for 95kg

"................................6'6 for 48kg and owner....................7'2"for 48kg and owner

................................8'0"for 84kg

This is a typical range of custom shapes . The nose style is determined by the rider weight. No production style one size fits all here.

Enjoy

your up early Col. No surf here, I'm off to work. Deadline day today. I reckon you would be able to paddle the 6'10.

Factory pop outs have a place, but once you know what your doing in the surf you cant beat a custom built for your Height, weight, shape usually roundness in most cases mine included and style. The flex tails on these boards make them feel alive and they love big surf and small here is my 7'10 surfshapes loving big Scotts Head.

Interesting boards.... looks like a very pronounce kick in the nose... nice for the late takeoff.

Bottoms? Rocker?

This is a pdf from AKU of a 7'6 from last year, its a smaller one and has just come back from surfing Indo.

It is very representitive of the style of SUP I make, planshapes vary depending on the rider, but as a rule the rocker and thickness flow concept don't vary much.

The late tail lift does reduce when the boards get shorter. I describe the rocker as 3 stage, late tail lift, flatter mid section, late nose lift, I have been making SUP boards like this for more than a few years now.

My surf spot is a point, with backwash and has a boat ramp. The wave has fat sections, very sucky bombies for takeoffs and barrelly sections and in the right swell the longest walls for jamming.

I'm 60yr and after a long gymnastic wave I just don't have the recovery power I used to have.

I'm sure the new 6'10" will up my fitness level.

95 ltrs and 28.25" 720mm wide. The red green gold is the same but 730mm wide 28.75". I can probably get a hold of that one its in for more deck grip. The other one's owner is away OS, can't get it.
