Anyone in Vic selling a SMIK Hipster Twin of around 8-8'5"? I'm looking desperately.
Why?
My Smik Hipster Twin 8'3" 120litres has delaminated and formed a giant bubble. Suspect she's a goner. Combination of some moisture went into the board when I broke a fin, carried up a mountain and low pressure expanded air inside (camping at Mt Buffalo on our way to Waratah Bay) and heat/sunshine (but board was in a bag). I'm gutted as I love this board.
Advice and thoughts welcome.
It is possible to glue the skin back down. Lots of holes ,2 part foam and clamps. Slow process but does get on old favourite back on the water.

Yes you could try above method first as guessing the sandwich is delaminated?
Long term plan cut the skin off, let dry, foam a layer of pvc in, fair and glass over.
Good luck 
You can do the above methods, or you can cut the delaminated section away from the board to the bare foam and let it dry out.
Then you will need to reglass a new section over the area and re spray the bottom.
A good repairer will be able to do it for you and will be cheaper than buying a new board.
I know because I have done it to my sunova.

it out, and keen to repair or replace with similar. In the meantime I've had a go with my old 10'6" aircraft carrier and now am feeling the longboard SUP thing. Starboard longboard vs Smik style lord for a next board??
(Perfect number of boards in quiver = N+1, where N is the number of boards you own now)

of course remove and relam is great as in this instance the core wouldn't be melted
Board bags cook boards when left on the roof of a car, always best to leave it out of the bag when on the roof in Oz.

Nah, did it on two boards already. It's a slow process and you use the rails as the template. Only did it with flat bottom windsurfers. Worked really well and extremely strong.
