Thumbs Up

Hi
Wondering if it's possible to get a decent SUP for less than 750?. I'd be only on flat water (moreton bay), and can easily walk to the water. I'd probably get more of a kick out of a distance paddle than anything else. What would be some good boards to look out for second hand?
Thanks
Scott

I looked for a second hand race board around that price range myself late last year... $750 seems just a little to less to get something decent. $1000-$1200 there were alot more decent options I just couldn't find anything within my driving radius that was worth it at the time So opted for a new atlantis halo 11ft for $990. Still the surf cruiser style board but I rate it for my first board. Done plenty of 10km paddles in Moreton bay around woody point area and into the creeks. And I feel being my first board and being the surf style it's very low to the water and given that the bay isn't actually flat water (90% of time it's choppy as hell) it handles the messy water really really well. Only downside is for distance paddles you are working a little harder than a big 12"6 or 14 because obviously with 11" you arn't getting near the glide of them. Which I don't mind as I use it for fitness anyways.
