Hi Pete, any plans on running anything south of the border? And what's with the red thumbs.

I don't get the red thumbs either.. No one is forcing anyone to do it.. But for those interested I'm sure they appreciate the post.. I've talked to Peter about downwinding and although I don't concidering myself an expert it was good to know we agree on many aspects of downwinding.. Learning the right way from the beginning is always better that developing bad habits and trying to change later..

Great opportunity to hear from one of the masters. Dean Gardiner, Pete Dorries and JR - if you ever get the chance to listen to any of these 3, pay up - it is well worth it. A lot of people know how to paddle well but few can communicate how to do it like these 3. Pete, hold a clinic in Sydney - the crew a frothing on DWing ATM...

Lots to learn from Pete; I've done a few sessions with him and I learned something new each time.
He looks at the individual and picks things particular to you that you can improve on.

I doing a one on one with Pete late February when I get some fitness back, (but it's going to be hard to teach an old dog new tricks).

Just did the non event downwinder on the Sunshine Coast. Pete smoked the lot of us coming second to Trevor Tunnington. He has a wealth of experience which showed today. Every champion is coached by someone at some point, you can always just get that one thing that makes all the difference - if you're open to learn.
