Travelling from Warrnambool to Tweed heads from late January to Easter next year. Leisurely trip with the sups and mountain bikes. Wife and I are ok in small surf up to a metre.
We are hugging the coast except for a trip to Kosciuszko.
Hoping to find all the easy small surf spots on the way so would appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks

Drop into Huskisson and the lovely people of The Husky Stand Up Paddle Club would be happy to welcome you.
Check out our facebook page for some pics of the waves and flatwater paddling ops.
Worth a stop in

Did a similar trip about 15 years ago with the missus and a camper trailer.
Took 6 months, stayed everywhere along the coast and scored some awesome waves.
Anywhere can be cranking on its day.
Have a good one!!

Once you are done in the Snowies - good MTB track at Lake Crackenback resort BTW - head straight to Merimbula.

Good beachies, beautiful paddling and check out the Bar when it is small - perfect little waves and mellow. There is also a sic MTN Bike track about 5 km out of town, XC but well worth a ride! Good XC riding at Tathra as well.

Scotts Head, NSW, is a must.

Just South of Macksville.

Camping ground with direct access to the beach, with a bowling club right next to the camping ground.

It's a paradise!!

Thanks all, we are getting pretty damn excited about our trip now we actually have places to aim for and stay at. Hoping for a few days at each place. Got 2 weeks at our north coast soon to get our act together before heading off.
