Thanks Gizman, nice one.

A couple of comments though:-
you said that the water was nice and warm, but you had a full steamer and booties on!!!!
Did you see that rotten SUPper drop in on you about half way through.
Also you had better watch out or DJ will be in contact, you might just take the mantle from him with your special effects.

Cheers
ET.

Fizzle,
What your logic for having your leash on your front leg mate?
Were you showing us your switch foot skills?
Looked like fun

Not very good really at the "special effects".....feel like I'm stamping around in the subtle world of video editing with my gumboots on .....but its a fun learning experience.
Have always worn my legrope on the left side (used to be a kneeboarder so it certainly didn't matter then)
Just feels easier for me personally to reach down with my left hand to grab the leash at wipeout time

Don't know where Towball was.....at least not "in the way" ha ha .....maybe at town beach although I think he is about to jump overseas again shortly

Rest easy.....the camera is mounted on a "demo" Ke Nalu with Xtuff shaft that I've been thrashing for about a year now

We moved back to NZ / Mt Maunganui from the GC a few years back..I found the water on the GC in winter is far warmer than NZ water in Summer….and thus we lasted 8 months and then moved back to the GC.

I really am looking forward to sup'ing Gizzy area in nov/dec. Such a primo spot.

the board is the naish GT9'10........getting old and slightly battered now....but still does the trick. Running it as a quad with GL rears and shapers S9 for the fronts.

Thanks for the kind comments DJ
