Hey paddlers,
only 2 weeks to go before the 4th annual Gippsland Lakes Paddle Challenge!
It's an event that suits anyone from the up and coming, aspiring paddler [ on a gentle 13 km, protected, flatwater course] to the seasoned distance paddler in the 27km event.
For those of you who haven't seen or paddled the Gippsland Lakes, here's your chance to sup in one of Australia's best inland waterways.http://www.gippslandlakespaddlechallenge.com.au/
Forecast for Saturday at this stage looks very promising for both the 13km and 27km events.
SW is almost a perfect DW direction for 80% of the run from Paynesville to Metung and also favourable for the Metung to Lakes.
Tide will be on the out by the time paddlers reach the Entrance mouth, so all good there too!

Yeeeeeewwwww. Sounds good to me!! Excited for this race now!!
Just for you Kieran...
Big sprint for you PT??
At 42 knots, I fear it might kill someone.
You could be right. I reckon the 25" Ace would be hard to beat.
Except by a 24.75" falcon of course. :)
