I have always explored areas where other SUPsters surf and paddle, by searching Google Maps.
Might be kinda cool now, when so many are locked out of the water, to explore where other Breezers enjoy SUP.
thanks Nooza, for asking where I lived... it gave me the idea to have everyone share
How to share your general location (see pic below, to see steps)
1 - Open Google Map
2 - Search the name of a town where you SUP.... or live
( I like to explore where SUPsters live, even if far from water, because I find every place interesting!)
3 - It will pop up in a panel on the left side of map
4 - click "share" under location heading
5 - a box will pop up with a shareable link
6 - click "Copy Link"
7 - "Paste" the link in your post reply
8 - When someone clicks your link, a map will open in a new window, showing where you SUP
Then we can explore the areas of Breezers from around the world.
It really helps connect us all
I have seen some very cool places doing this, and learned a lot!
Here's my location:
on Cape Cod, Massachusetts, USA (click the link to see a map of where I live)

Didn't get the left box or share link
Try this
earth.google.com/web/@-38.4928797,145.20072835,37.8221328a,18195.10196393d,35y,0h,0t,0r/data=CkkaRxJBCiQweDZhZDVlYjNlZGVkNGIzZDU6MHg1MDU3OWE0MzBhMGQ0YjAZgdcdQeA9Q8Ah_FexU4clYkAqB1ZlbnRub3IYAiAB

Again, zoom in. but that's where I am at

One billion tonnes of bauxite mined...
A Skatepark
Rottnest
Wildlife Park
Grandprix Circuit
and a bunch of sweet surf breaks scattered about!
The things you can learn on a keyboard adventure
Nope my google maps does not come up with a copy link like yours just COPY and the name just comes up????
Kew.
Camden County
Georgia
maps.app.goo.gl/f9n6TjBdWCvGmiCH9 Waves from Brunswick GE to Jacksonville FL. And some alligator swampy spots..
Ah, the Baldives! That suburb has exploded.....you wouldn't recognise it now! I grew up in Karnup, bought my first house in Golden Bay and never left!
For it to work you need to do it through the website. I couldn't find the copy link bit on the app.

I note the "Best Ever Foreshore Dunny" is not marked.
My fitness paddle put in spot. Live about 500 meters up the hill. Closest consistent surf is an hour drive north or southeast. Sea of Japan wind swell out of the north or on the Pacific Ocean side, a wind swell or typhoon ground swell from the south.

Good idea.
I leave near: goo.gl/maps/nqpCyS4hq1Tre9Dx9
I SUP mainly at goo.gl/maps/bnfy7961agwQrRUWA or close by (max to 5km north or south)
But before, most of my life I surfed at:

See if this works.... we can catch 180deg of swell around here!
Dropped pin

Very cool idea, if the town beach isnt working then why we go here.

Wow, you are south.
Last August we swam at Cape Arid rather than SUPed.
We claimed it as a Southern Ocean swim, but it seems to be the Bight.

It was cold.

Love your part of the world mate. We spend two weeks down Denmark/Albany over New Years each year.
So many waves and options in different winds. Lucky guy!
