Description:
Jamie Mitchell SUP Camp
The Hurley Surfing Australia High Performance Centre (HPC) has called in 10-time World Champion Jamie Mitchell to host the inaugural Stand Up Paddle (SUP) surf camp.
Jamie will be providing coaching across all styles of SUP for this once in a lifetime surf camp that includes:
Meeting, surfing and receiving coaching from Jamie Mitchell
Coaching across all styles of SUP including technical racing
Technique Evaluation
Race tactics for short and long distance
Video analysis of each wave you surf during the camp
DVD of the camp to watch yourself surfing at home
Location: Hurley Surfing Australia HPC on Casuarina Beach (15 minutes south of the Gold Coast), NSW
Who: Male and females of all ages looking to improve their Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP)
Date: March 24th - 25th 2012
Camp time: Each day of the camp will run from 7.30am to 4pm
Cost: $275 (2 day camp) Optional extra: Breakfast and lunch each day - $50

That would be great to and if I lived up that way I wouldn't miss it.

Jamie is probably the number two or three SUP paddler in the world right now and that's after being more dedicated the kneeling and laying down.. Now that he's standing up pretty much 100% how long before he's number one in the world?.. Not long I don't think.

When Jacko was here a few weeks ago I asked him who (IHO) is the best SUP paddler as far as technique goes to learn from and copy.. After a short think he said JM.

dj, most people look unco when they paddle beside jm, and thats not putting those people down if you know what i mean
