We are stoked to have Ke Nalu come on board as the major sponsor for the Ke Nalu 2014 Australian Flatwater Supfest in Adelaide, 28th-30th March.
Ke Nalu are providing awesome trophies which are very unique and being made in their factory. Big thanks to Dean and his crew for getting behind this event which has so much potential in this country.

AuSup is presenting Supfest in partnership with Australian Canoeing and Surfing Australia has sanctioned the event.

Thanks also to Tim from Digital Media Creations, www.digitalmediacreations.com.au., who designed the poster which will feature on all the trophies and t-shirts for the event.

The older age groups will definitely be on! We have enough Over 60 men and Over 50 women here in S.A. to make sure these races are competitive. We have a few older frothers who are hanging out for some interstate competition!

There is a large contingent from W.A. and Vic. already committed to attending and we are starting to hear of some elite paddlers from the other states coming. Will post names as soon as we have confirmation.

Hope to see you all there,
Phil

Looking forward to this event!
Will be very interesting to see if the big names of the sport can still manage to come out on top in the short sprints.
This might be a format for the big powerful crew to blast their way to the front?
Either way it's going to be a lot of fun

It will be interesting to see what type of athlete ends up dominating the 200 metre sprint events - I imagine that's the most likely Olympic event if and when SUP racing gets the nod. Regardless, whoever takes it out scores boasting rights as fastest man and woman in Australia.

It will be very interesting. Jim Terrell posted 54secs at the silver blade. Peter Pridmore did 56secs at theback blade. Can someone break the 50sec barrier? That's 14.4kmh!
Having watched Will Lee over here, I reckon he'll be up there.
The fastest paddler in Australia.......pretty Cool bragging rights. Sheltered Flatwater course - set the right time maybe we could see a world record broken.?
I remember rowing at west lakes - beautiful course - it's going to be a great event.
