Proudly presented by WA SURF and Naish Australia. Sprint, mid and long distance racing in Bunbury.
We are excited to be having the N1SCO format of racing to Bunbury and the south west. The event format is still being finalised but will go down the path of short BOP style racing
N1SCO events use the Naish ONE, a 12'6" inflatable paddle board to put all riders on the same level. It is BYO paddle, however if you don't have a paddle and would like to be involved, Naish have brough over ample adjustable paddles to ensure no-body misses out.
We invite paddlers of all experiences to come along and enjoy the one design racing, it's going to be an awesome day - and not just from around the South West, but any who felt that last in Safety Bay was just simply not enough.
WA Surf will also be bringing down some stand up paddle and kiteboarding demo fleet from Naish, Fanatic, Starboard, North Kiteboarding and Airush Kites.
And maybe if those little green arrows keep pointing like they do, maybe we can convince Naish for a little downwind run across the bay after the event
Punch Koombana Drive into your GPS and you will be taken straight there, or simply head for the Koombana Sailing Club, it'll be set up next to the Beach House burger bar
this Sunday 25th
rego from 1100
racing at 1200
downwinder, as many of us hassling Naish if the green arrows keep true
Wavemasters Outrigging Canoe Club Bunbury will be paddling around as some of their members are going to have a crack. They have extend the arm of friendship and anyone wanting to have a try post N1SCO are most welcome.
**N1SCO UPDATE**
The event is still on tomorrow. If the wind proves to be an issue the event will move a couple of hundred metres around to the Marlston Waterfront, where the Bars/cafes will offer protection from any west orientated wind. The only downside is there is paid parking. The up, probably the first lunch time crowds on any water fronts in WA to have front row seating for a SUP ever. So please, make no assumption the event will cancelled, The Bunno guys have even dibbed in to help inflate boards if there is a venue move
Best thing about N1SCO is we can change the courses, formats and location so easily that regardless of the weather we will be able to put on a really good event.
See you all for rego at 11am!

Apologies for any mistypes in the names - some of the hand writing on the entry forms was less than readable
We had so much fun getting down there and running the event, next one is already being planned.
