Well........I've had the best time in thirty odd years whilst on this little excursion. I'm still here and seriously considering never going back. There is always a wave somewhere, the guys that are on Seabreeze that live here are generous with their hospitality, humor and capacity to listen to my crap. I've had uncrowded waves with long walls and hollow sections every day. Towny I'll PM you when I get back to Melbourne as typing on this mobile drives me insane. Coxy(SupBali), his mate Craig and all that SUP crew, Sharpie and Cooper (his Blue Heeler.)and especially Towny, I can't thank you enough for sharing what has been for me a surfer's true paradise. Do yourselves a favor everyone and if you haven't visited this section of coast,do so. It's beautiful, friendly and the food doesn't make you crook.

If any of you guys come to Vicco PM me and I'll do my best to help you with whatever you need. By the way the Victorian under 18 hockey team didn't lose a game. My son has played, as have all the boys, like a team. They finished on top and with a bit of luck and a lot of effort hopefully they'll win their finals and be Australian Champions at the end of the tournament. Unfortunately like soccer you can dominate a game and still lose in hockey. Finishing on top at least gives them some pride in their efforts but probably not as much pride as we as parents feel in the way the boys have gone about it

Victoria versus NSW in the Australian U18 Hockey final. I'm going to post 4 pix of the peak I was surfing by myself day after day when I get home. They are different waves all from the same set. I'm not going to tell you where it is. Find it!!!! Newcastle locals all know where it is. Two things. Congratulations Sharpie on winning the social club comp. You're lucky I can't stand on my board, surf backhand anymore and had to go to the Hockey game Secondly remember these words. Justin Norrish has two sons that are 8 & 6. In ten years time they will share ruling the surfing world. . I watched them carve the left for backhand practice and then rip the right hander to pieces.. It was double overhead for the eight year old and triple for the 6 year old. Dad was body surfing in the water with them and advising. I watched him catch a wave, get in the tube, stick his head up whilst in there and smile at his two nippers, . It was surreal and definitely not imagined. I should tell Ripcurl about them. They'd all make money if they wanted to. MR........... the man with the second most world championships, Sharpie/Coxy tell him about them ( and get a finders feeLOL). Thanks again everyone I met up there, the photos will self explain my surfing story and remember the Norrish bros. I can't even make fists with my hands from holding the paddle for so long every day LOL.

In my defence they were both wearing helmets!! Only makes it more of certainty! !! BTW Victoria won the hockey championship 2 goals to NSW 1. Talk about nerve wracking! !!!

This part of the world isn't really that good, very crowded, agro locals and not good SUP waves. Best bet is to just keep driving.

Yeah that's what I heard! ! The one guy from a family that is actually local goes off. Apparently lots of man and woman eating tuna fish as well. I'll stay well clear. Does the 6 months I spent hiding there 33 years ago count?? God does own a lot of country doesn't he?
