Now that many of us have discovered paddling here's something that may be interesting to parents. Get your grom into paddling outrigger now and you might have a future Danny Ching, Travis Grant or Jamie Mitchell (edit: or Andrea Moller) on your hands which all spent their junior lives paddling outrigger.

If you know any younger crew keen to try it out call the numbers below. The 2 ladies running the program are lovely people and very knowledgeable.

Thanks ill try to convince my 13 year old to have a go.Been trying to get her into sup to no avail , maybee this might spark her up.Little rat just got out of bed and do you rekon i can convince her to come down the beach while dad goes surfingShe reckons quality time with Dad is not watching him try to surf.Hopefully it stays good all day!
Tomorrow and Sunday might be a bit too big.

Just an update to this.

The new Coach for the Junior squad is now Peter Dorries.

If you are not familiar with him Peter is also an elite SLSC Coach and coaches both Burleigh and Tallebudgera clubs. He also paddles SUP and trains on Currumbin Creek with the boys.

People pay a high hourly rate to train with Peter, your kids can do it for almost free.

The come and try is this Sunday.
