Guys,

We have now added a BOP clinic this Sunday afternoon from 1pm to 3pm, location to be decided to obtain best conditions. This clinic will improve your ocean paddling and is not designed purely for those entering BOP events. If people are interested Downwind technique can also be discussed at the this clinic.

The Saturday flat water clinic after the Starboard Black Blade Regatta is now fully booked, but we do have some vacancies on the 7 AM Sunday Morning clinic.

Peter will have limited time available so if anyone is interested in either a 1 on 1 or a different clinic, let us know and we will see what we can organise

So give us a ring ASAP to book either of these clinics at Stand Up Paddle Sports on 9244 4446 or any late bookings on the weekend try 0417 085 400, but I will be unavailable during the racing and the clinics.

Peter Dories SUP Coaching Clinics
10th and 11th of November - Perth

Peter Dories world class SUP coach, will be heading over from the Gold Coast for two days to give us a taste of the best SUP coaching available.
Book now for your two hour flat water session at Champion Lakes on Saturday 2.00pm [after the Starboard Black Blade Regatta] or book for the Sunday flat water session on the Swan River at 7.00am.
We are going to run additional clinics on Sunday afternoon, but rather than us telling you what we are doing, we want you to let us know what kind of a session you would like to attend. When we have that feedback we will make a plan for Sunday afternoon, be it 1 on 1 coaching, Downwinding, BOP, more flat water, etc.
So please send us your feedback ASAP so we can make plans for our Sunday afternoon sessions that will suit you and we will be flexible with location to optimise the days conditions.
If you wish to attend please contact Stand Up Paddle Sports on 9244 4162 or email info@standuppaddle.com.au. To ensure a prompt start to your clinic we request that you make payment when booking and ensure that you are there and ready to get started at least 10 minutes prior to start time.
Cost per person:- 1 x 2 Hour Clinic = $90,
2 x 2 Hour Clinic $150
or attend 3 x 2 Hour clinics and pay only $199. (only $33.17 p.h.)

Sounds good, I would have been interested if I didn't have to shoot straight up the coast after the Starboard Black Blade Regatta.
I have Monday and Tuesday off I don't suppose you have anything planned for then?

P.S. Don't go sneaking any private coaching in before Saturday.

Kent,

Unfortunately Peter is flying over on the red eye Friday night and flying back on the red eye on Sunday night, so Saturday and Sunday are it.

If the forecast isn't so good for the kite wave titles and you decide not to go maybe give me a ring and see what is still available on Sunday.

No training this week, just cold and flue tablets:-(

Was great to have Pete over here sharing some of his techniques and drills. Now it is time to practice, practice, practice.

Thanks also to Ian from Auswind for organizing to get Pete over here.

Thanks to the paddlers in W.A. for making a great week-end. Caught up with heaps of folks and had a great downwinder Sunday Arvo.

Highlight of the trip - Luc Longley paddling a 12'6, 25 inch board and not falling off.
