Hi
I am heading up to the South Coast of NSW on Thursday for a few days and was wondering if anybody had some suggestions/tips on any breaks suitable for a beginner up that way. Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers

Hi Bazell
Basically anywhere between Eden and Bateman's Bay. Not locked into any firm plans, so I will be organising accom around the most suitable breaks and winds etc.

Hi, There are plenty of breaks around Merimbula Pambula area. If you wanted to head North then probably Dalmeny and Potato point you will find some beach breaks without too many people.

There's a 5m Great White that has set up camp for the last coupla months in Merimbula Bay.
The clubbies at Pambula have had to close the beach a few times
I've been told it's 1m wide across the head.

Incentive to stay upright, if ever I've heard it! A surf SUP would be a tasty snack at that size...
