I've been launching at Swansea Caravan Park every afternoon for the past two weeks in this great weather and doing a great 4k paddle around the sand islands. Is anyone interested in making this a regular paddle. It's a 3.30 kickoff to do the full circuit due to failing light or 4.00pm is a 30 minute paddle around one Island. It will be weather permitting and the current isn't a problem. Cheers Tim

Sorry Sharpie didn't follow post! I ended up going at 3.00pm. Perfect conditions. Should be plenty more in the next week by the looks of the forecast. Will be going again tomorrow. Yep that road just past Swansea boat ramp that leads out to the car park next to the lake. It would be a great regular paddle.

It's a fun bit of water to explore.

If only the powerboat drivers/owners driving up and down the channel knew what 5 knots was!
