I get my first two in 5 or 6 weeks.
Testing will begin and video will follow! Super stoked about the whole process!!! Bert is freaking amazing to work with!!
Awesome Rick. You are a true legend and inspiration.
Your channel has been a bit quiet recently though. I can only rewatch your old videos so many times. :D

thanks SEB... ha ha... I bought a home in Florida.
It was affordable for a reason.... total rehab necessary, and I am doing it all my self.
At night I consult with SUPsters around the world about board options or How-to info.... then pass out
I try to finish video projects that I am working on, then wake up when my head hits the keyboard!
I really need to finish some videos!
Maybe I'll make a rehab video and you can watch me sweat
Awesome interview. Ricks the nicest guy and has been spot on with his reviews. He turned me on the Sunova SP25 and that board has been magic. YEW!!!
Great write up Rick, for the amount of people you have inspired it's well deserved.
Great to heae that it's been a housing protect that have slowed the flow of surf goodness output. hope you can down tools and pick up the boards again soon.
Cheers.
Steve.
Creeky!! Such a great interview - love that you put surfing, people and the planet as your constant source of inspiration - and in that order
Keep sharing the stoke and keep shredding man.
Yeeeew!!
Well done Rick.
You have certainly proved an inspiration to many of us to venture into SUP surfing.
Watching yours videos woke me from an aging slumber to get back into the water and fall back in love with surfing.
Thanks to you I am addicted to get wet again and am fitter and far more active than 10 years ago.
Any and all accolades heading your way are well deserved.
Congratulations on the article & looking forward to more of your videos.
Keep well and SUPing on.

Wow, thank you for this..... I am super stoked when I hear about someone getting back on the water and chasing waves again!
It is truly amazing the effect SUP can have on an aging body and soul
Thank you all for the great comments... they are much appreciated.
We are truly living the dream we had as kids:
to chase the Endless Summer

Totally understandable. I was worried you may have gotten tired of the whole YouTube thing.

DingoMan
so stoked to hear from you.... I haven't noticed you wit and sunshine breeze'n through here in a while.
I miss dingo howl!!!
Awesome Rick..big mihi and aroha from NZ. Always willing to share the stoke
Same with you SupMaori, I miss your posts as well, but then I don't check into the foil pages.
See you on FB
I think you posted the wrong interview, where is this "old guy" the title speaks of?
ha ha... thanks! SUP keeps us moving forward, that's for sure
That's a great read Rick, you're a legend.
Your advice has definitely helped me over the years, keep up the great work young fella.
A really good interview. Cool you have been to NZ, I love the points at Raglan, but have found so many uncrowded waves in NZ since switching from my shortboard to SUP surfing. I love that sharky places become accessible because Im not sitting around dangling my tasty smelling toes in the water, and its awesome being able to paddle to the next peak without breaking a sweat when all the shortboarders decide that Im on the juiciest waves and they want in on the action.
Come back sometime and explore more NZ spots!

Great read Creek! Inspiring! Can't wait to see the new boards!
thanks Wcreek, much appreciated and I am definitely excited to get my test boards next month!

NZ is such a beautiful place to wander around and enjoy the countryside!
I can imagine all the empty coast that is just a paddle away... perfect!
I would be super happy to visit NZ again.... can you motor your island just a bit closer?
My buddy and I driving through the Kaweka Forest on the way from Mahia to Lake Taupo
What a wonderful interview Rick! You are an inspiration. I hope to follow your lead and continue surfing well into my 70s. Looking forward to seeing your new board design. Cheers
