I threw this vid together trying out a new board in some late afternoon winter sunshine last weekend. Coming back in as the sun was setting I happened on a chance encounter with Dean Cropp. Dean was the Director of Photography for Tom Carrol's Storm Chaser movie. Legend guy, throws his drone up and spends a good hour taking some footage and downloading it for me. Never met him before.
On top of some truly magic winter glass I really connected with this board and what started out as a bit of a board test, turned into a truly memorable paddle.
Love this very cool vid that Dean made of TC and his boards.

This would be one of my fave promo vids of all time. I am amazed that it it hasn't been published more widely

Fantastic vid AA. I was out paddling at the same time, but on the other side of the Spit, paddling off Chinaman's and Grotto Point. Wish I'd gone around to your side because it was blowing a gale on my side. How lucky we are to have spots like that to paddle.
I think that one of the reasons we paddle is that we get to live in the moment - nothing else matters at that point in time.
Jeez there is some sus characters in that one Casso! Yeah what a great bloke hey - Dean Cropp.
Here is another classic vid from Dean - surfing with friends at the :50 sec mark
Nice vid AA. What did you think of the Lahui Kai?
Yet another board we can't get in the UK, unfortunately. You guys get a much better selection of brands than we do.
Incredible location & nice paddle
Nice location and indredible paddle I would say
