Angela Jackson takes out first place overall, after winning both the sprints and distance race, and her Gold Coast SUP training group team mate, Jake Jensen, takes out 2nd place in the distance race... Jake Jensen came in 3rd in the sprints but 2nd in the distance to give him an overall ranking of 2nd... Congratulation to these two!!

'On day two (Sunday) things looked a little different; Connor crushed it in the distance race, Kody put in a massive effort to finish runner-up, while Kai slipped right back and opened the door for Jake Jensen to claim 2nd place overall for the event. Angie was again too strong in the women?s.'

Wonder what Kai got?? Zane has improved heaps, coming for in 4th!

Kai just had a off day and will be back up the top somewhere foresure!! Connor has shown he is going to be the man to beat but just from the first event Jake is going to be right there with him all the way!!

anther good effort from the weekend was James Casey getting 15th on a inflatable!! even beating Kody in round 3 of the sprints on it!!

The whole event here was well run with a tough course which had a bit of everything, now bring on Abu Dhabi!!

By the looks of the obstacles on the left, the beach component of the Tech Race was pretty tough!

Geez Ang, looking good!!- get your husband to put you up on the thread he started awhile back.

We just had our Alround boards here for this event but have the flatwater boards in our next stop in Abu Dhabi so will be able to tell you more after that event.

I thought that looked like the flat water board in the pic. My bad eyes.
Wow exciting stuff to see jake on a quicker board in flat conditions should really rival Connor and Kai on their crafts. And urself! Ange killing it already!
