Get over it

Surfings surfing

The people that ride Stand ups on the tail end of Burleigh pt are at a similar of surfing level to the people that ride mini mals short boards etc etc in that area

Burleigh will always have agression its part of the culture in the water there
Even the locals rip into each other

As for the pic

Overexaggeration if that was the incident being refered to
He looks in control and the young girl shouldnt be attempting to catch a wave someone is already riding therefore shouldnt be where she is
General ethics at any spot

So as long as we are not greedy, dangerous, disrespectful or snaking then all is good.. Sounds fair to me.... Just wonder if it goes both ways

I do not see the problem here: the girl is in no way on the trajectory of the SUP, they both saw each other, and the girls isn't trying to paddle in the wave, on the opposite she clearly show she let him ride.

Just some internet trolls reinventing reality for provocation.

Why bother posting this crap???? Been surfing for 49 years in November, still no good but I do know Burleigh has been a **** fight since the late 60's. It was around the time anybody that went out more than five times said they were a local. There actually are real locals now but most of the people whinging are most likely from Ipswich. (My best mate was from Ipswich guday Eddie) I've seen these posts go for 5 pages cause we respond to provocation like sheep. Should it happen again?? Guy's in this forum don't do what was posted. Enjoy the warm water surf and let the dickheads sort out their problems like Sunny Garcia and his kid. Please post pix of the stupid worms doing their stuff.

from the original instagram pic....in the comments. the bloke on the sup had been burning people and was yelling at the grom being aggressive. the paddle was being used as a threat towards the grom...

this is from months ago as well.

Either way, this is hardly a statement about SUP riders. It is a statement about one as#hole.

But if you called it fantasizing or defamation against SUP, it would have been hard to argue. Isn't it

So please watch that video taken 2 days ago when this surfer is moving to my position from the leading position he owns for few sets . I was waiting my turn more inside than him on my SUP 6'5" for the wave coming . He argues my paddle disturbed him to catch the wave .
Very common attitude from shorties to not let the way despite they cant get it, disrespect

My friend Sylvie always paddling on every right handers only, no problem , just fun but can't get over her foam.

Personly I think he's probably right.. btw.. it's only a missed wave and not the end of the world or anything.. There'll always be another wave..

You right it was just a missed wave , I got some perfect ones when he leave . I run out of Gopro battery to record those ones.

I mean this topic's concern is a matter of perception:
Until surfers would paddle stand up also Supers would learn proned basics, both perceptions will be missed up and conflicts will remain with fantasying, defamation as Lookielookie shows above here.

DJ, ive had a short boarder paddle from inside me ( he has priority) to try and get oustide me for a peak that was perfect for me and not able for him in his original spot. I turned and caught the wave to a mouth full of marbles coming from him. I pulled off and asked him what his problem was, hes said the usual crap, and I asked if it was ok if I paddled around to get inside him the next wave ..... Just because you are inside doesnt mean you have the priority for every peak....

had he taken one of the many waves that peaked inside both of us, there would have been no contest from me.
