When are we going to see the beast in action
When I feel competent as a pilot.
The board is very lively, and has a unique carving feeling, accurate and slicing. The tail bites and releases in a way which I haven't felt before. it's as if the tail is flexing but it's really due to it sinking and rising. It acts as a fin when it engages. There's an issue in the chop (pitching and pounding) which I think is due to me riding a bit too far back.. (quite normal on a diplacement tail when going down in length and/or coming off a tunnel finned board, more so with such a low buoyancy tail)...more confidence is required so that i can ride further forward. She doesn't feel like a ten footer that's for sure. Overall pretty stoked but have to do more dialling in, only about ten waves so far under the belt.
I suppose i could show the footage so far.
New to the forums, though tide ad a couple
First is a 6'10" widow maker, single with side bites
Second is a 7'10" Evolution based single ( current favourite, can't get off it)
Third is a 6'0" twin keel.
Whoa great looking boards welcome mate
But they're mid length??
Great quiver mate.
Few more shots of the widow maker and the evo egg would be great?
who are they crafted by?
That Evo board looks great. Love to hear more about how it rides being a fan of widepoint behind centre boards.

thats not WC ,,its a girl i met on Ashley Madison
G'day Dave
the Evo style is an awesome ride, awesome trim machine and can still crank some awesome turns. slightly rolled bottom to a bee in the very tail. Pinched rails with a hard sharp edge on the rail towards the tail. handles in all conditions in fact rode it in well over head conditions last week and was surprised at how well it went.
currently running a Alkali 9" flex fin and with that nice big drawn out turns on the rail. I have another stiffer 9" Shapers with less rake and with that in sharper turns and can get a bit more vertical.
It's in good nick, has it been resto'd?
I'd say a bit of Botox..some eyeliner..fin replaced..otherwise original ..but still a nice looking cruiser.
What's the weight like of that board lofty
Cobra my old girl is 15kgs i dare say Loftys might be similar.
