My thoughts were not focused on the van btw.
Nice find Ted (much better then a similar post in the gen I saw recently)
I had an XD Falcon panelvan in the 90's. All I needed was a mattress, a gas camp stove, a board, a book & a b**g
My highlight today was my dinner that I just are.
Sated capsicum in olive oil till just browned, salad of egg tomatoes, rocket and cos lettuce and feta cheese.
Grilled Tasmania salmon with sea salt and black pepper.
Delicious.
ET.
I had a medium cooked tuna steak with tabouli , avocado , caramel used onion and chopped tomato and cucumber. Not bad
i had live norwegian sardines dropped into boiling water, drained, roasted over a maple log fire, then dressed with tear drops of a Tibetan yak and sprinkled in dried baby platypus excrements
inch thick Porterhouse seared to medium (ish) .... some tater chips , tomato , cucumber , bit of green leafy rabbit food (think they call it Lettuce!) ... and I am delicately adding a dash or four of my secret recipe ...... ice cold beeeeeeeer
...... under the southern cross I stand .... stub in hand .... longboard forum .... you FARKEN BEWDY
Nice size to the swell lately here...
BUT - my highlight - my Garbage Man...
He could fit right in at The Bar, here... A truely great bloke!
I gave him beers for Christmas too!
Separately, last week, I slightly overloaded The Green Waste Bin, and the (other) driver didn't pick it up!
Today, Recycle Waste was collected early... Garbage Bins get done at about High Noon lately...
And my lovely garbage truck man collected both my Garbage, and my Green Waste! (wasn't even green waste week!)
He's a bloody legend!
(and yes - I was just going to leave my Green Bin out for 2 weeks, in slight protest!)
Unexpectedly fun waves. No size, but the longboard ate them up. Also watching the French chicks getting a surf lesson
Managed to get down to the local beachie without too much whining from the missus, she got drilled last time lol she just cant judge waves to dive under them at all. It was really small, but a fun lil left with no one else out for the 40 min quickie we were there & pretty much wave after wave on the mal. Really enjoyed it coz I havn't been on anything other than the 666 in the last 2 weeks & even that was only 1 sesh last Friday. Finally getting the slab down on our new house...just cruised by & had a squiz, felt sorry for the poor blokes working on this I guess 37c day with still no sea breeze at 3pm WA gets bloody hot & dry this time of year without the arvo onshore we can usually rely on...all up pretty cool day for the 1'st of my long weekend off work & the beer tastes great...stoked
7:43pm and work finally over. A few warm ups now as training for tom when I head down to the big smoke for a stag do at the races. Help
