8ft plus and clean on the reefs this morning from all reports from the boys. I am stuck in the office this morning. Will be leaving at lunchtime to hopefully get my fill. Seems the SW will be here all day so fingers crossed I can get away early and sample some goodness. A few protected corners at home should be firing Not sure I will be enjoying the cold water. Will endeavour to take my camera with me.

^^^^ that change in water temp isn't going to be enjoyable for you..

Report this morning was saying biggest swell we have had all year. Short memory I think but still very large..

Well it was that flat here I could not even get a body surf across the pond and i paddled across to get there thinking I would get a nice mal.wave...wrong
Yesterday was funny though, surfed the chrispy chip.as I felt sorry for it....and wow im in love again. Completely the wrong waves for it. Peaky head highs with some side wave action, some smooth face chop and some lucky ones that went for a bit.... It was a bar of soap and i was outta control yeeeeeoooooooooow

Went to the beach - very windy n although lots of size in the swell it's not a good one yet - period is too short. Maybe tom morning things will improve. Even with the benefit of a southern protected bay it was crap. A few shark biscuits out playing on one of the sucky reefs but too much wind for me. Would never make it into them.

still not really surfable here today - might have to go for a drive sadly. Loads of residual swell hanging around and good winds just messy.
