Hi all,
Any recommendations for a surf camp for a lower intermediate surfer in Bali where a a solo middle age bloke won't feel like a grandad amongst pretty instragrammers
Done a couple of searches on forum but nothing showing.
Got a business trip Nov so thought I take the opportunity.

Mate, Bali is cooked now, has been for a long time. Surf camps are full of entitled Influenzers, Trustafarians and Russian wannabe gangsters stinking up every line up in the joint. If you're new to surfing in Bali, your best chance to avoid the cluster**** is to hire a personal guide, you'll have a better chance of finding waves to match your ability, they'll even flex local priority push you into a few if needed. Good luck.

lower intermediate....?
if you can paddle and catch your own waves
stand up and go side ways...
in November.....?
air port lefts
air port rights
hire a board
even a big softie
jump on the boats that leave from up near the patra and join the mostly jovial groups of Japanese lower intermediate kooks
plus, there's always one smokeshow on a boogie board in a gee banger to practise your origami with
is the hidden gem
everyone goes everywhere else and gets stuck in traffic
outside that
Bali is ruined

There are so many options in indo Other than Bali which is an overcrowded sh!thole.

Look up Kandui or Macoronis camps
