Surfboard and fin design has been an ongoing debate among shapers and surfers since the begining. We're at a time in the world where no one answer seems right to just about any question and freedom of expression and feelings mean everything. There is no right way to dress and no specific line to draw while surfing. I've surfed short boards, logs, fishes, grovellers, funboards, the lot really. But I've never found the right fish. With more shapers than ever pushing the limits of design and usability my question is, what fishes are you surfing? What fin setup and fins are you using? Upright or Keel? Quads? What design of fish do they suit? Rolled to double to vee? Channels? Single concave? Straight or rounded outline? Domed, flat or step deck?

I have a design in mind but im wanting to compare it between others. There is alot to be said by talking to surfboards about the way aspects in design effect the way a board surfs and feels. Also im not trying to take anything away from from the previous post about twins being a hoax and I did try and search for post about twins but it didn't come up with a result.

Cheers,

Mitch

I've tried a bunch of different ones but this one is my favourite.

I wish we had "flat spells" like the one Noel was complaining about in the vid
