Hello, I'm looking to buy a used surf board that has a broken nose and wanted to check if from the picture it looks like an easy fix or something more serious and costly.
I don't have experience with repairs other than little dings that I filled up with resin or JB weld. I would try to fix it myself.
Thanks for any comment...
That's fairy decent ding, wouldn't class it as "easy". I suggest it would be around $80-100 to fix depending on an inspection and who may be fixing it.

That board looks to be in good knick and probably worth spending the money to get that ding fixed properly.
That's a fair whack but fixable. The repair may add a little extra weight but shouldn't effect the boards performance in any way.
Thanks for the answers.
The board looks like new. It's a 6'8" fun shape, hopefully easy enough for a beginner.
The owner says he bought for his nephew, the kid used it a couple of times and the rode it to the beach and that's how he broke it.
He was asking $350 (USD), now he dropped it to $250, so I guess $350 repaired?
That looks like a transport ding, rather than a beach break mishap...... Just saying. Did it 'fall off the back of a truck'?
