I wish the video didnt edit out the takeoffs.
Then I would know who to be rooting for - the drop in on a towed karnt or the flithy drop in on a paddle takeoff.

Maybe the guy had paddled past everyone for the tenth time, or been towed past everyone for the thirtieth time?
Every tow surfer out there should be dropped in on every time for mine. "Oooo but it's Mick...he is a local." There are thousands of locals there. My family had farms where the airport is in the forties and they still live in the Tweed and Goldie area. Do my cousins deserve less waves than the prats on skis? Nah stuff em. Burn burn burn I say.
And I can't stand those guys who snake mercilessly and then crack it when they get dropped in on. You can't pick and choose which bits of the etiquette get followed.

spot on. spent a fair few years on the goldy. i was cheering some of the drop ins as they looked to be onto ski carnts and snakes. burn em baby
even with that swell i dont miss the place
at all.
