I am interested in trying knee boarding, so would like to get a cheap board to see if I like it enough to invest more.
I'm in Melbourne but will be between here and Torquay over the next week
I am 85kg, and will surf around Torquay and ocean grove.
Doea anyone have one they want to get rid of?
I've been looking there, not many options. I might have to bite the bullet and buy new. I'm not even sure if there is much difference between knee boards and fish surfboards
Couple of OK older ones on Gumtree. Crozier were the ones I had back in the day. I think there is still an association around the Wollongong NSW area. Try to get in contact with them. Good luck.

There's a huge difference. I worked for a guy who made kneeboards. They were way different to any surfboards. I think he is making none right now actually.
Over and above width, thickness, rail and rocker differences, the fin cluster is in a completely different place.
Definitely get a kneeboarder to shape it.got a cripple mate who has a hard time making surfing board makers to understand the intricacies of Kneeboard needs as opposed to just a short fat surfboard
Bruce Hart, Flashpoint Surfing is the master of Kneeboards. As is Dave Parkes (Parkes Kneeboards), Neil Luke, Nick Hartigan (Kneeon Kneeboards), Strapper, Native Kneeboards plus a host of others but all of those are rider tried and tested through and through and will make you the best board going!

Strapper in Torquar should have a selection of second hand boards too.
