I sailed my Chopper M Saturday. What delightful sails! Like many of us, really enjoyed the video. Nice to see you on windfoil

Board : my usual personnal home built 1.7m/60cm/100l. codename viral calisson
foil Aeromod foil v2 easy M front wing.
Sail Naish chopper labelled 'prototype XS'. I'd say somewhere between 3 and 3.5.

wind reports from the club gauge 25kt max gust about 30kt, but very hard to really tell as at La Ganguise lake wind drops to no wind and can blow out to 30+ in seconds. This day, the wingers were on 4m mostly, the fins were on 4.5 to 5 m sails.

I try to convince myself to wing once in a while though. But I usually keep it for abroad trip, good way to make new friends
See you.

Interesting about the XS Chopper. I was scratching my head looking for it on the internet when I read the youtube description. I have the rest of the quiver S -> XL and thought I missed something. The S is small enough for me to use 30+ kts. The XS must be a lot of fun! Now I feel incomplete without one.

I also have several chopper from different years :
M 2013, XL 2014 (I think) a mk3 M (3 battens) and this odd one I describe as XS. As I said I am not 100% sure of its design. It is labelled prototype 013 (2013?) chopper size 3.3 luff 326 Boom 141.
I never found any specs matching these in any Naish Chopper revue, so I may have a one of a type sail.

It has the low aspect of the chopper line rather long boom for its size and small luff.
I really like these sail for foiling.

I am looking for any 2nd hand mk2 chopper, but it seems they were barely sold in France : not the type of sail for European wave condition it seems.
