A great downwinder in 20 kts, large swell and butt clenching rides on the rollercoaster.

Looks like a fun one mate! I looked ya up on google earth, what a cool spot you live in... I would love to visit those barrier islands. The north end of Moreton island must have some heavy surf and it looks largely undeveloped! The inlet between Moreton and Stradbroke looks fascinating, the white shoals reminds me of the Bahamas (one of my favorite cruising grounds)!

It's a great playground, with lots of marine life including dugong, turtles, stingrays, dolphins, flying fish, sharks and even humpback whales during the migration season. We mainly sail the western bay, you need a boat to sail eastern bay. A group of us have speed sailed the channels in the Amity Banks (the white shoals). It's great fun but a real mission to get there.

Frothing on yours and Simon's first design/build
Board is still super-stiff a couple of years on

Today's downwinder in 15-18 knots.

Hows the close stance feeling

Well I mean rearward base position. I see you stuck it forward, do u need more?

I could use another short mast track forward of the existing track for strong winds/pushing speed.
But it's working well for me as it is, in the 3 sessions I've had.

When you're not busy
