Stoked with the tail mods
The increased area tail helps get on the plane easier with small foils - while keeping a minimal area nose to reduce swing weight and lessen bashing into swells when hammering upwind. So far I can't see a downside, I don't feel the bigger tail on foil.

Nice vid, Those swells had to go straight to the Hospital Emergency Room after you carved them up
I am with you, I think a little more volume, preferably in the tail, helps me stay on a smaller foil and smaller sail. And drift in/out if I need to. Just makes things easier. Easier = fun
Nice riding !.
Ya, I discovered launch and stall speed is mostly about the tail for me. I tried the SS340 turbo tail and didn't like it. Fell of the foil quick and harder to launch. Also couldn't turn very hard without blowing out the tail. The 360 v tail works much better for me.
I would like to know how you added the tail, if you did some structural work or just fiberglassed them over. Ideally it would be great to see some pictures. This is because I have a small board that might need something similar.
Thanks
I only remembered to take 1 photo
Nothing structural.
Glued (epoxy/QCells mix) the foam block to the glass tail of the board and to the exposed foam of the added on wings.
2 layers of 6oz cloth on the bottom, 1 layer on the top (overlap board about 2cm) and 1 inch wide fibreglass tape around all the edges.
The newest chubby in my fleet.
I've always felt anything in front of the Mast is a waste so I just moved the buoyancy under my feet.
Flat, thick and wide in the back makes it easy to get going and up on the foil.
I've never been worried about the look or what other people think as I think that's part of the problem with windfoiling.
Trying to make it too much like a Windsurfer.
I sail off an island so I still have to be able to slog it.
Like I said in the past my designs aren't for anybody but myself but I'm glad to see you're coming around to the idea of the no-nose......
The freestyle designs I have not understood other than as marketing gimmick.
Nice design!
I have seen this nice custom windfoil boards on the internet

Wow nice find I like the shape and the fact that the sail mast track is kept close to the front foot straps suit my current style of windfoil might have to look closer at these boards.

Nice build
Do you use smaller wings ?
I found super short boards too hard to get up to planing speed to easily use wings smaller than 750cm2 - which are fun for speedy carves.
This glas/carbon fabric is awesome, is it from australia? I have never seen something like this in europe
