A RobMac epic! Apparently cut down from 18 mins!
Look out for the director's cut coming soon!
I know JJ laments the lack of perspective that the GoPro gives by flattening out the swell. If only we could capture the Froth inside our heads!
At least this stuff helps refresh our memories. Great to see Rob's progress over the last year in down wind sending!
Yes JJ my poor effort to initiate a 360 is the start of a long journey I fear! Thanks to Rob for continuing to nag me about making a start
Yesterday was even better with bigger windswell fully lit on 3.7! Stoked

Great vid.

What's the best wind conditions for the spot? How difficult is it getting out past the broken surf to foil depth?

More wind the better, wind in the vid was 16-18, yesterday was low 20s. Works in WSW to SW. As long as the tide is not too high the shore break is not a problem as there is some reef just out from the launch.
My preferred method for shore break is go out backwards holding the fuse just in front of the stab and the boom to keep the sail flying. Trying to let the waves hit right on the tail.
