For those of you with Slingshot Phatasm gear you may have missed the release of new rear stabs from Slingshot.

I use a Sabfoil rear stab but this may be useful for someone with Phantasm gear looking for a change from the original S400. Great marketing by Slingshot (Insert crickets sound).

I have a ps360 on the way. The 340 looks a lot like my 400 with the upturned wing tips sanded off and a 1deg shim (my daily driver with g800)

I just posted my video today on the rear wings (winging though) I've been off the water for 12 weeks because of an injury and haven't tested them for wind foil yet.

Had a quick session on the 360 today and i think its a keeper. Sailed on 5.2 with a ptm926 in very light winds. Balanced well with no need for a shim ( I normally shim to 2degrees and the ps360 is set at 2) gave me good pitch stability like the 400, only with better pumping and a looser feel. Also has great glide for when you need to jibe in a lull. Look forward to getting this out in more wind and swell.

I never really liked the ps325. It gave me lower pitch stability, which made carving and sail tricks more challenging and also increased yaw stability, which made the foil feel really drivey; the opposite of the loose slashy feel I crave.

An update since I have been using the ps360 daily since I received it. I have been out in a full range of wind and for me this stab is better in every condition. The foils feel looser and ride smoother with better range. I have paired it with front wings ptm926, g1000, and ptm899 as well as with 92 and 103w masts. Only downside I can find is that in very light conditions with the g1000 flying high on the 92 mast it is just a touch unstable in yaw while pushing hard upwind. Go a little lower and back off on angle and it immediately resolves.

The ps360 with the ptm899 on the w103 is absolute magic -putting a huge smile on my face.

I've been on the ps340 for 2 weeks, with both the PTM926 and Sabfoil WO940.

Compared to the ps400, the 340 is more pitch sensitive, but you get used to it and adjust. Interestingly my legs were really tired after the first few sessions. They must be working harder making automatic adjustments in pitch control. The muscles have adjusted now and my legs recover faster.

The 340 is definitely looser, feels great in gybes and turns on a swell.

I'm not getting noticeable faster speeds on my GPS with the 340.

The real surprise is that the 340 is easier to pump up and has better glide, especially with the WO940.

I've just received my new PTM899 and look forward to paring with the 340
