I'm in the market for a new big sail for a slalom foil setup and can't help but be intrigued by the North foil sail. I am having trouble finding people who have actually sailed them. The Race sail for fin seems well liked by the few who I have spoken to mostly for its good manners and very easy cam rotation in the big sizes. These are important issues for me on the big sails as I find that my current HGO 9.0 and HyperGlide G4s are a handfull to rotate. I'm 57 and need all the help I can get out there :]
Any firsthand or even hearsay evidence would be appreciated
Thanks

There is a write up about these sails on the forum a bit further down. A friend has the 8.6. It's an amazing looking sail, the air bladder is pretty awesome. He seems to like it well enough. Still a slalom sail so it won't point as high as an hgo. Interesting what you say about the hg4. I have a 7m hg4 and the cams on it just suck. I have tried it with an older severne 460 100% mast, that broke, so used the 460 top and 490 apex pro bottom, finally then a slake 460 mast. Best cam rotation was actually with the mix and match. I also note when rigged that the leach is quite loose about halfway down, but still quite tight at the top. Doesn't seem right to me, but maybe that is slalom sails.

I have been following that thread thanks. Not much first hand info on either the Race or Foil sail. I have bitten the bullet and bought the 7.5 and 8.6 with masts because I got a tremendous deal on the 2023's to clear inventory for the 24's. Still three months till the ice breaks up here so it will be a while until I can give them a go . I'll add some to the ongoing thread once i have some time on the new sails (if I can come up with anything intelligent to say).

Sounds like time for a road trip.

The Patrik sails rotate awesome when on patrik masts. Check out his videos. He went thru the whole Race+ quiver showing how easy they flip. I'm sure the other s in the range do too. My GT3s do
