I'm just trying to learn this foiling game.
Out yesterday in wind with the local tower reporting 10-15kts, almost no whitecaps to be seen, using 5.7m sail on a 1220cm wing it was just soooo easy to pump onto the foil, completely unlike how I go with a fin in much stronger wind.
Is this a common experience, or am I special?
Nah your not that special, but foiling is. As soon as you have enough pressure in sail to balance lift from foil you are away
Can get going in 12 knots on 4.8 with similar size foil.
Enjoy!!!
BTW we are all a little bit special in our own peculiar ways
Well i guess your special after all.
probably bruised because you are learning to foil.
When you get the hang of it and your setup is nicely balanced its like a walk in the park.
Welcome!
